Stampin’ Creative blog hop – Saleabration and Sneak peeks

Welcome the to December Stampin’ Creative blog hop!  I hope you’ve had a fantastic Christmas and that you are looking forward to New Years and 2018.  I know I am.  You may have arrived from the lovely Kim at Simply Fairies or started here;  either way you are very welcome.  Please do hop around and see what we’ve all created for this month’s theme of Sale-a-bration and Spring/Summer sneak peeks.  Please leave us a comment too – we love to know what you think.

This month, I seem to have been thinking about Valentine’s, inspired by the new products coming up – you can order from 2nd January, so get in touch to place your order with me.  I made a clean and simple Valentine’s card first, using the Spring Summer stamp sets Heart Happiness and Petal Palette and clear embossed both stamps to give a glossy sheen.  I used the co-ordinating Sweet & Sassy framelits to cut out the embossed image and a larger heart in Real Red to provide a border.  The sentiment was also clear embossed (stamp in Versamark, then Real Red ink, then heat emboss with clear embossing powder), all on a thick Whisper White card base.

Next I used the Painted with Love suite, along with the Heart Happiness stamp set again (it co-ordinates), all from the Spring Summer catalogue.

I fell in love with this box (below) and the matching narrow notecards and envelopes as soon as I saw them!  The cards are just 6.4 x 11.4 cms and are darling!  I can’t wait to use these as hostess gifts, door prizes and more!  To create the box you need a Big Shot and the Lots to Love Box framelit dies.  I cut out small hearts from the same die set, using the Painted with Love specialty DSP.

For the card, I again went clean and simple and monochrome.  I stamped the all the images from the Heart Happiness stampset in Real Red – quick and easy but effective, I think!  Together with the gorgeous envelopes, a set of these cards would make a fantastic gift.

Before we move on, a heads’ up that we will have lots of guest blog hoppers next year, including other Artisans (we are lucky enough to have Emma Goddard as one of our permanent founder members) and international guests, so please come back to see us each month.  We are very excited about our guests!

That’s it from me – see you next weekend!  Now onto the wonderful Mikaela – click on the next icon below or the full list of links is below.
