Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative blog hop! If you’ve joined from Louise or started here you are very welcome! I hope you enjoy today’s projects. This month’s theme is Stepping into Christmas, so expect snowflakes, glitter and Rudolph 😉
I’m delivering snow and glitter with my project! This is one of four cards I created for a recent technique class using embossing paste.
The base is Garden Green and I have a skinny Real Red border around the Whisper White layer. I stamped the tree trunk in Soft Suede and then the branch images in Garden Green and Always Artichoke. This a two (three in fact) photopolymer stamp set called Season Like Christmas, which is available in the current Autumn/Winter catalogue. I heat embossed the star from the same set in gold and then added white Embossing Paste (current Annual catalogue) using a palette knife to create the snow drift and snow on the branches. Finally I added Wink of Stella to add some Christmas glimmer!
I hope you like today’s card. Now onto Eimear to see what she has created. There is a full list of blogs at the end of the post – just click on the button below to go to Eimear’s blog.
See you next week for another Christmas card featuring embossing paste.
