Yesterday I celebrated my 4th anniversary as a Stampin’ up! demonstrator, so I think it’s time for a giveaway! I’m also thrilled that it was Random Act of Kindness Day – very apt! Signing up in 2014 changed my life. Sounds dramatic I know, but it’s true. Whenever you ask someone why they signed up as a demonstrator they mention the discount. But when you ask about why they stay, it’s all about the people and relationships. Sure, the discount is great, but I now have friends I wouldn’t have met any other way. I have an extended family of demonstrators around the world that even includes my *actual* sister. I signed up after the first class I ever attended, because I fell for the products and knew I’d be buying a lot. I intended to be my own best customer, just a hobby demo, but as time went on, I realised I wanted to share my creations, started classes and blogging and now run three one day craft retreats a year with my friend and upline Eimear – the person whose class I went to all that time ago. One thing that makes me a bit different from a lot of demos is that I didn’t craft at all before that first class. I thought my creativity was all centred in music. I sang from an early age and certainly didn’t think I had any creativity when it came to cards and paper crafting. I’d never heard of Stampin’ Up! or any of their competitors. Aside from my own wedding invitations and stationery I’d never even made a card. Proof that anyone can do this! It’s relaxing, satisfying, fulfilling and fun. I’ll be forever grateful this came into my life.

And now for the giveaway! There’s a mixture of current and retired product here. I’m including an unused wood-mount stampset from last year’s Sale-a-bration; one that everyone loved – Hey Chick! There’s a reel of retired Bermuda Bay Stitched ribbon, metallics sequin assortment, Tutti Frutti Classic Stampin’ Spots (Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede), Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack (another Sale-a-bration limited edition you can’t buy anymore), 12 sheets of Picture Perfect Party DSP (it’s 6”x6”) and three of Myths & Magic Glimmer paper, one of each colour (again, 6”x6”).
To win it, please comment on this post and tell me what you love about card making or Stampin’ Up! I’ll pick my favourite and that will be the winner. You have until midnight next Sunday, 25th February. Due to postage costs, this prize is just for the UK. Good luck! Come back tomorrow when I’ll be featuring the Truly Tailored stamp set and matching punch.
