Joyful Christmas card

Hello!

I hope you’ve had a good week – I’ve been busy trying to get ahead with blog posts as we go on holiday next weekend and I’m hoping to post as usual.  In addition, I’ve started the prep for our upcoming craft retreat and finally pressed “send” on my order this morning! I’ve planned my cards and have started designing pillow gift packaging as well as lots of other exciting things!  1st October will be here before we know it!  We could still squeeze a few more people in, so if you fancy a luxury day of crafting please just get in touch.

On to today’s card – you’ll know I am a real fan of clean and simple and this one is no different:

Joyful Nativity, Heat embossing, Clean and simple, CAS

This features two stamps from the Joyful Nativity stamp set – new in this year’s Annual Catalogue.  My photo makes the top layer look like Very Vanilla but it is in fact thick Whisper White!  I simply used embossing buddy then stamped the stamps (which I had on one block together) in Versamark and then heat embossed in gold.  I have a skinny Basic Black border and my card base is Cherry Cobbler.  Simple and elegant I thought – I’m going to try it with a Very Vanilla layer now, I think!

See you on Tuesday.
