Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative blog hop – I can’t believe another month has flown past already! If you have arrived from Louise you will already know that our theme this month is sneak peeks from the upcoming Autumn/Winter catalogue and also have seen her lovely projects. If you’ve started here, welcome! Please do hop around everyone for some inspiration and even more importantly, more product sneak peeks!
Since I received my pre-order I’ve been posting sneak peeks from the catalogue – if you haven’t seen them here they are – you can click on the photos to link to the posts if you’d like more details.
For today, I decided to make a clean and simple Christmas card featuring a stamp set and product sneak peek! I also decided to demonstrate the difference that borders can make, so there are two versions of the card:
You can see that the second card has a wider Garden Green border and that I’ve added another Real Red border as well. I think it makes the card look totally different – amazing given that they are so similar. I think it’s easy to get stuck in a rut and just make cards of the same size, with the same borders each time, so hope I’ve reminded or inspired you to change things up a bit! The stamp set I’ve used here is Wonderful Year and I’ve heat embossed it using the brand new Real Red heat emboss glitter! Now, the photos do not show the true glitteri-ness – trust me when I tell you it is super glittery and gorgeous. You have to buy some! And it comes in Garden Green as well.
I love the products I’ve showcased for you today – hope you do too! Next up is Gina – you can click on the button below or there is a full list of links at the bottom of this post.
See you on Tuesday.
