A twist on Celebrate

If you read my blog on Thursday, you’ll have seen my Design Team card for the current CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.  If not, my post is here.

I was really pleased with my card:

But quite quickly I thought of a twist I could do, which I thought would be effective.  So I thought it would be fun to post that today, so you can compare and contrast:

This card also meets the criteria of the colour challenge.  Yes, a bit more fiddly than the original, but worth it, I think!  I did the same things as on my previous card but also cut the flower out a second time in Daffodil Delight, then used my pick-me-up tool to help get the petals in position after using the fine-tip glue pen in the spaces.  I stamped the same sentiment in Archival Basic Black, this time more centred on the curve so it’s closer to the flower.  Same, but different.  Like it?  Let me know!

See you on Tuesday.
