I recently posted a masculine birthday card that I made for my father in law – you can see the post here.
As the design called for many colours of the same “swoosh” from the Swirly Scribbles framelits, I had a lot of leftovers pieces cut. And that got me thinking. It was really easy to create the following cards, basically out of spares:
Variations on a theme, I think you’ll agree! But I think they look surprisingly different! The different sentiments in gold and copper also rang the changes and I really liked the Cajun Craze base as a further twist. I have to admit that the brushed gold card stock isn’t available anymore, but the Gold Foil sheets in the current catalogue would bring a real shiny punch instead.
