World of Thanks for CAS Colours & Sketches

Today it’s a sketch  challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches:

sketch 164

Sometimes there is flexibility with sketches and we can replace the element with another, for example a circle.  But in this instance Jane has asked us to use a square.  I did decide to rotate it a bit though 🙂

World of Thanks, metallic heat embossing, CC&S #164

My base is Island Indigo, which I love, but sometimes overlook, with a Delightful Dijon square matted with a skinny Whisper White border.  I place the Delightful Dijon square directly on the blue, after wiping both with embossing buddy, then stamped “A World of Thanks” in Versamark and heat embossed in gold.  I like the way the skinny white border breaks it up a bit but you can still see the connection of the words.  I put it all together with tombow.  Simple but effective.

Hope you like it!
