Rainbow for Time Out Challenges

Today I’ve entered a challenge from a new (to me) site, Time Out Challenges.  It’s challenge #29 and is an “Inspired by Words” challenge (also new to me!):

‘You can’t make a Rainbow without a little Rain’
You can be inspired by the whole phrase or you could choose just 1 or 2 of these words.
I decided to CASE a recent card of my own, which featured a rainbow (you can see that post here).  It is pretty much the same, but I’ve gone for a square card, instead of rectangular:

The base is Elegant Eggplant, with a Whisper White mat which I stamped the rainbow onto.  For my rainbow colours I chose Elegant Eggplant, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red but these could be swapped to suit.  I used the “swoosh” from the Work of Art stamp set offset to the left to create the rainbow.
I heat embossed the sentiment (also from the Work of Art stamp set) in white on Elegant Eggplant and cut it out using a framelit from the Chalk Talk set and my trusty Big Shot.  I popped it up using dimensionals and the card was done.
Hope you like it!
