So, a cheeky post before we head off to a wedding. Actually, we should have gone already, but Mr T succumbed to some kind of stomach bug yesterday and we’re waiting to see if he’ll be ok to travel to Poole in Dorset for a family wedding tomorrow. I hope so, as he’s been looking forward to it. On the plus side, we have just watched “Bake Off, An Extra Slice” from the comfort of our own sofa.
So, on to today’s card. This is another in the trilogy I created for the person wanting a wedding card, with a yellow theme. This is the first card I created for it, and my favourite, although not the one that was chosen – there’s no accounting for taste, fortunately. Once again, I created this before the blog was born, so there are no measurements, as such:
- Whisper White cardstock – 210 x 148.5 mm, scored and folded at 105mm
- Hellow Honey cardstock
- Eastern Elegance DSP (yes, again – I loved it, ok?!)
- Whisper White cardstock and the Deco framelits
- Wedding cake stamp, retired I think – stamped with Versamark, silver embossing powder and brought to life with the heat gun – I never knew how much fun a souped up hair dryer could be
- Three basics rhinestones
And that “love” sentiment? Foil, you think? Think again – I didn’t have any. I stamped the Versamark pad onto vellum paper, then added silver embossing powder and created a heat embossed rectangle. Then I used my “love” framelit (carefully inserting greaseproof paper so I’d actually be able to remove it) and ta-dah, a card I am very proud of 🙂
Hope you enjoy it.
